Note from IST: Earlier versions of this episode included some defamatory language. It came up in the live improvisation as an example of bullying, and at the time we produced the episode we hoped listeners of the original cut wouldn't mistake its usage as any endorsement.

 

Nevertheless, we ultimately decided that its inclusion didn't say or add anything thoughtful enough to outweigh the possible pain it might cause listeners who've been attacked with such language. As Trek fans we strongly believe in a future (and present) where are all treated with dignity and respect, and as comedians we endeavor for our work to be as smart and humane as it is clever.
